Saturday = Bookstore Day!

It’s finally the weekend, which means it’s time to go to the bookstore!

We only have one bookstore in the county, Barnes & Noble. I don’t count the multiple LDS bookstores or the dollar bookstore we have. So my choices are limited to one place to go, which really sucks.

I can’t go in to a book store and not by a book, it’s just not possible for me to do. I got a set of four little journals, a metal chain bookmark, a second copy of The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne and a second copy of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass. I also got Grace, my daughter, two cute little books and a Doctor Who bookmark for her to play with. I only spent about $30 on everything, which is an accomplishment for me, I usually spend half my paycheck without realizing it until it’s too late.

Of course when going into Barnes & Noble, I have to stop at the Starbucks inside where I found this adorably Captain America coffee cup and a Batman one for my mom, which I had to buy. Obviously.

After being sick all week with a cold of the flu, I’ve never been able to tell the difference, I’m hoping to be able to get some reading done today in between loads of laundry.

What is everyone reading this weekend?
